Event Description: The Chamber is working with community partners to plan a fun-filled event on Saturday, August 7 called "Back to School Jam." Presented by Walmart, the event will be held at Flagler Palm Coast High School from 10 AM to 2 PM, with the goal of supplying 2,600 student backpacks stocked with school supplies to local students. Back to School Jam will be open to ALL Flagler County Public School students, and will include vision screenings and immunizations, Kindergarten registration, and fun activities with storytellers, face painting, music, games and more! Special arrangements will be made to support children in need. Since 55 percent of students in our county are on free and reduced lunch plans, this effort will help ensure kids start school on the right foot. You can help. Please consider sponsoring a child for as little as $20, making a donation or adopting a school supply like pens, glue sticks, erasers or rulers. Contributions are tax deductible.
