The Jacksonville 100 Black Men Chapter (J100) in support of the Edward Waters College student ‘Dress for Success’ program launches its drive to collect new and previously used Dress or Sports Jacket.
Dr. Claudette H. Williams, Ed.D, President, Edwards Waters College has established a Professional Dress Day , requesting students to dress professionally one day each week. This Dress Code program complements the College’s academic focus by enhancing the students’ ability to confidently and competently interact in a variety of professional and social settings. Contributing sports jackets to the students ensures that most of the male students will be able to participate in and benefit from this educational experience.
The J100 will be collecting the Jackets and ask that you search your closets and donate a new or used dress/ sports jackets/ suite for the male students at EWC. All contributing organizations will be acknowledged during a return to school event that is being planned.
Your contributions will be greatly appreciated.
